It is incorporated in the aqueous phase of cosmetic formulas at 0.5-3% w/w.
Natural magnesium containing clay. It is mainly used to stabilize emulsions at very low concentration. It has low acid demand and is stable with electrolytes. It can be used in cosmetic formulations (creams, shampoos) but also in oral care products and pharmaceutical preparations.
