Rice bran oil is obtained from the germ and husk of rice. It is high in oleic acid, phytosterols and vitamin E. It is appreciated for its dry texture and it is used in cosmetic products for all skin types since its ingredients increase the hydration levels of epidermis as well as protect the skin from free radicals. Thanks to its powerful antioxidant properties, rice bran oil is added in sunscreen formulations.
