Formulation Tips
It is incorporated in the aqueous phase at a rate of 0.1-2% w/w and neutralized with sodium hydroxide at a ratio of 1: 2.4 (thickener: NaOH).
Polyacrylic polymer which provides control of viscosity and rheology of the final product. It is incorporated into all cosmetic formulas, but it needs neutralization with some base (usually sodium hydroxide is used) while the presence of ionic compounds affect its structure.
